Erm... Sasser worm hit yesterday the hardest though many ppl kena the worm.. i dun...
regardless u kena the worm or not.. juz go to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp then scan for updates>>install critical updates.. tat'll save u... pls go update even if ur system wun be affected, else OS like windows 98 can spread to XP etc..
If u kena that worm...
Download the
FixSasser.exe from Symantec
1. Internet MUZ not be connect at all times when u r running the removal tool
2. System restore MUZ be disable
3. Run the tool
4. Restart com
5. Run the tool...
6. can connect to internet le.. go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
7. scan & install all the critical updates
8. then u r free from virus.
If your computer keep restarting when u want to remove it...
1) ask a friend to help u get the the fix for u.
2) run windows in
Safe mode
4. Restart com to normal mode
5. Run the tool...
6. can connect to internet le.. go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
7. scan & install all the critical updates
8. then u r free from virus.
